The field has finished qualifying for the 14th race of the season the Genesee Twin 50s - Race 1 at the Holland International Speedway.
George Kent won the pole, with a time of 19.460 seconds, beating Richie Evans by 0.049 seconds.

Race #14 - Genesee Twin 50s - Race 1
The NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series made their 14th stop of 1985 at the Holland International Speedway, in Holland, New York, for the Genesee Twin 50s - Race 1.
George Kent led a field of twenty drivers to the green as the first of two events was going to be held at the track on the same day, Kent began to pull away from everyone else, while at the same time further in the back, points leader Richie Evans worked his way up through the field and on Lap 30, Evans took the lead and much like he had done the previous four races, once in the lead Evans was untouchable, scoring his fifth win in a row and eighth in 1985.
Other Noticeables: Richie Evans scored his 8th win of the year and fifth in a row, Evans led 1 time for 20 laps, which were the final 20 laps, It was the 8th win of his career in the NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series and his first since New Egypt; 1 race ago, Trey Hoddick(8th), Steve Hoddick(10th), Dick Kluth(12th) and Roger Treichler(16th) made their NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series debuts, Richie Evans, who finished 1st, kept his points lead, leading Mike McLaughlin by 135 points

Race #15 - Genesee Twin 50s - Race 2
The NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series made their 15th stop of 1985 at the Holland International Speedway, in Holland, New York, for the Genesee Twin 50s - Race 2.
Doug Heveron led the field to the Green Flag as he would quickly jump out to a two second lead as short distance and a caution free race meant drivers had a sprint to the win to try and get the best finish possibly as Jeff Fuller worked his way up from fifth spot and took the lead on Lap 12. Once in the lead, Fuller pulled away from Heveron as he used lap traffic to build up a five second lead and quickly scored his first career win.
Other Noticeables: Jeff Fuller scored his 1st win of the year, Fuller led 1 time for 38 laps, which were the final 38 laps, It was the 1st win of his career in the NASCAR Winston Modified Tour Series in his 15th start, Richie Evans, who finished 11th, kept his points lead, leading Mike McLaughlin by 127 points

Ed Brunnhoelzl Jr. won the pole, with a time of 14.785 seconds, beating Jamie Tomaino by 0.002 seconds.
