The field has finished qualifying for the 4th race of the season the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour 150 at the Caraway Speedway.
Burt Myers won the pole, with a time of 19.213 seconds, beating Brian Loftin by 0.039 seconds.

Race #4 - NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour 150
The NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour made their 4th stop of 2005 at the Caraway Speedway, in Asheboro, North Carolina, for the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour 150.
Burt Myers led the field to the green flag as for the fourth race in a row drivers raced around the small 0.455 mile short track but this time it was Alex Hoag who would make a move in Turn 4 and would lead the first lap. Unlike the previous race, cautions would fly during the race and keep things close, but a long green flag run toward the end of the race spread out the field and allowed Hoag to stay in the lead and would go on to score his first win.
Other Noticeables: Alex Hoag scored his 1st win of the year, Hoag led 1 time for 150 laps, which was every single lap, It was the 1st win of his career in the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour in his 4th start, Alex Hoag, who finished 1st, is the new points leader, leading Jay Foley by 12 points

Jay Hedgecock won the pole, with a time of 18.183 seconds, beating Tim Brown by 0.011 seconds.

The NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour made their 5th stop of 2005 at the Bowman Gray Stadium, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for the Advance Auto Parts 199.
Jay Hedgecock led the field to the green flag for the second time in his career as for the first time drivers raced for the first time at the legendary Bowman Gray Stadium. Tim Brown would get a strong run out on the outside and would take the lead as an early caution kept the field close for the first fifteen laps before Brown would begin to pull away and from that point on, no one had anything for Brown as he would lead every single lap for his first career win.
