Race #8 - Hampton 200
The NASCAR Busch Grand National Series made their 8th stop of the 1985 season in Hampton, Virginia, the site of the Langley Speedway for the Hampton 200.
Tommy Ellis led the field to the Green Flag and would quickly began to build up a lead each and every single lap, due to only one caution coming out in the first one hundred thirty laps, Ellis lapped all but five drivers. After pit stops, Ellis pulled away on the restart once again and appeared well on his way to victory, but with less then ten laps to go, Ellis was spun out by Elton Sawyer, bringing out a caution and putting all challengers right on his back bumper. The green came out with four laps to go and Bubba Adams did everything he could to try and pass Ellis, but it wasn't enough, as Ellis would lead every single lap and score the victory.
Other Noticeables: Tommy Ellis scored his 2nd win of the year, Ellis led 1 time for 200 laps, which was every single lap, It was the 9th win of his career in the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series and his first since Daytona; 7 races ago, L.D. Tommy Houston won the pole, with a time of 26.591 seconds, beating Rick Mast by 0.163 seconds.

Race #9 - Budweiser 200
The NASCAR Busch Grand National Series made their 9th stop of the 1985 season in Dover, Delaware, the site of the Dover Downs International Speedway for the Budweiser 200.
Tommy Houston led the field to the Green Flag and would lead the first seven laps as the one mile short track would a great showing for all the fans in attendance as both wrecks and battles for the lead would happen, atleast for the early half of the race. NASCAR star Darrell Waltrip came over from the cup series as it took him only nine laps before he took the lead, before giving it up when the second caution came out. It took Waltrip only nine laps before he passed Joe Ruttman for the lead on Lap 21, no one knew it at the time, but that would be the sixth and final lead change, as Waltrip pulled away over the remaining one hundred eight laps to score his second win of 1985.

Race #10 - Winn-Dixie 300
The NASCAR Busch Grand National Series made their 10th stop of the 1985 season in Concord, North Carolina, the site of the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Winn-Dixie 300.
NASCAR Winston Cup Series driver Tim Richmond led the field to the Green Flag and would lead the first four laps before Neil Bonnet, who was tapped by Darrell Waltrip, who was focusing on the NASCAR All Star event which was to be run right after this event, took the race lead as the near sellout crowd was given a great showing by the NASCAR Buschwackers who raced against the Busch Series regulars as only one caution would fly during the event, allowing for many battles for the lead and position. Richmond would be in the lead late when a faulty piston ended his day with thirty one laps to go.
Neil Bonnett would assume the lead and had to hold off points leader L.D. Ottinger to score his first career win.
