1986 NASCAR Winston Modified Tour

Race #22 - NASCAR Oxford 100

The NASCAR Winston Modified Tour made their 22nd stop of 1986 at the Oxford Plains Speedway, in Oxford, Maine, for the NASCAR Oxford 100.

Bobby Gahan led the field to the green flag but it was Jeff Fuller who would lead the first two laps before losing the lead briefly to Bobby Gahan before Fuller would take the lead and would command the race as the first half of the race would be slowed by four cautions, and during pit stops Fuller would lose the lead to Ken Bouchard, who would battle over the last half of the race with Brian Ross, who would assume the lead with seven laps to go, and thanks to a late race caution, Ross was able to score his second win of 1986.
