It would be interesting if Mark Martin finished 2nd-5th at the end of this season. Which is totally possible because the title battle is insanely close between a lot of different people. I mean since 89 Martin's standings positions:
89: 3rd
90: 2nd
91: 6th
92: 6th
93: 3rd
94: 2nd
95: 4th
96: 5th
97: 3rd
98: 2nd
99: 3rd
00: 8th
01: 12th
02: 2nd
03: 2nd-5th?

I believe Martin can win a title. He has been very consistent in the races, to the point of almost making a four-in-a-row: Lowe's, Dover, Michigan and Sonoma. Only Pocono, won by Ricky Craven, fumbled this sequence.
