In a press conference held in Fort Worth, Texas, James Finch said he is optimistic with the team.
"Phoenix Racing has been showing good results in the races that has been playing. Came to Texas with the aim of finding good results. Know the potential that Mike Wallace has and say that we will play a good number of races this season."
However, Finch also caught off guard who was at the conference. Announced that PJ Jones will be the team driver at Sears Point and Watkins Glen. Asked about it, Jones replied:
"I very much hope that the team get good results on road courses. Phoenix Racing has had good results in recent races, and hopefully take it to the road courses with the help of the pit crew."
Mike Wallace also spoke about this:
"The team has great potential for growth. Not be surprised if it is among the largest within a few seasons. After all, the smaller bottles come the best perfumes."
