Stanton Barrett racing Press Release- "You know, its just disappointing to qualify for our first race and not even run 20 laps before we are heading home. Hopefully we can repair the car, but this will definitely hurt our team, no doubt. We have 2 cars in our race shop, so losing 1 is never good."

I have 2 questions. Are you planning on using the real life chase format when you hit 2014 (or earlier) and are you planning to change the point system, or leave it how it is?

No idea yet. I do plan on at a minimum adding in the Wild Card for 2009.

Screenshots. I had to significantly downsize them since I took so many. Ryan Newman leads the field to the green flag.  Several drivers in the back half of the pack wreck on lap 1.  Jon Wood rear-ends Paul Menard under caution.  Todd Kluever slides out of turn 2 after contact with Kyle Busch.  Bobby Labonte spins in turn 1.  Jason Leffler and Denny Hamlin hit the wall in turn 2.  A group of drivers crash under caution.  Dave Blaney slams the turn 4 wall hard.  Denny Hamlin, Michael Waltrip, and Matt Kenseth wreck exiting turn 2.  Kasey Kahne slides through turn 2 as Greg Biffle slaps the wall.  Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Tony Stewart kiss the turn 2 wall.  Joe Nemechek climbs the turn 4 wall in a hard crash.  Clint Bowyer pounds the turn 4 wall in a vicious multi-car accident.  Jeff Gordon and Martin Truex Jr. tangle after racing back to a yellow flag.  Jeff Gordon and Scott Riggs crash hard in turn 3.  Casey Mears slides wide, allowing Travis Kvapil to make the race-winning pass.  Travis Kvapil takes the win under caution.  |
