Bobby Ricky's Post-Race Analysis:
Well folks, I can now say that Richmond isn't necessary for a dramatic race for the postseason. This race proved just that!
The big story today? Gotta be Travis Kvapil. Came into this race 15th in points and with the odds against him, but Lady Luck chose him over Biffle, Nemechek, and Mayfield. And the Wowzer from Wisconsin (as I now call him) is in the Chase! I said before that there were drivers better than him, but he seems to have all the luck.
But of course, we can't forget Kyle Busch nabbing his long overdue first career Nextel Cup victory. When that kid climbed out of that Kellogg's Chevy and took a bow for the crowd, I knew we had a future sensation on our hands. I expect him to be a serious championship contender in these final 10 races, and all of next season when he joins Roush's squad.
My congrats go out to our 12 championship contenders. I think we're in for a nice dramatic chase for the championship, just the way I like it!

This championship will be very interesting for sure.
On a side note, shame to hear that Phoenix Racing missed another race, hopefully their luck will turn around at the next race.

Sorry I haven't gotten screenshots up yet, guys. School has really been a kick in the balls this past week or so and I'm not anywhere close to where I need to be for my college applications and I've got a lot of them to do. I'll try and do screenshots and finish ratings when I can, but it's safe to say that the Chase will be taking a back seat for a while. A lot of my apps are due for November 1st, so hopefully by the 2nd week of November I can start to get in the flow of things again.

FINALLY! Carl Edwards leads the field to the green flag as 42 drivers look to set the Chase field. Jason Leffler loops his Dodge in turn 3 following a blown engine. Kasey Kahne collides with the tire barrier. Reed Sorenson loses an engine. Kyle Petty and Jon Wood bring out the third caution flag of the afternoon. Chase hopeful Greg Biffle spins with Casey Mears on the frontstretch. Greg Biffle takes out his frustration on Mears by spinning Mears's teammate Ryan Newman. Mike Bliss stalls in turn 4. Martin Truex Jr. and Elliott Sadler crash. Kenny Wallace, Bill Elliott, and David Stremme spin on the frontstretch. A number of drivers spin in a stack-up following the 8th caution flag. Kyle Busch earns his long-awaited first career Nextel Cup victory.

Great pics.
It's a shame to see Chip Ganassi Racing struggling: David Stremme having terrible performance, problems with Toyotas and insecurity because of Montoya for 2008.
