2008 Season Outlook
If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? That's the logic Richard Childress had when he looked at the #07 team this offseason. After an incredible breakout season for Clint Bowyer with 18 top 10s and a 6th place finish in the points, nothing has changed for the #07 team, as Gil Martin continues to work on top of the pit box. Having successfully avoided a sophomore slump, look for Bowyer to continue to break out. Of his 4 career wins, each has come at a different style of track. He's won at a plate track, a road course, a mile and a half track, and a flat track. Bowyer can absolutely be considered a dark horse championship contender for 2008.
