2008 Season Outlook
It's the partnership of every NASCAR fan's dream - Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the #3 car. Dale Jr. will bring the #3 back to the Cup Series for the first time since his legendary father's death in what will clearly be the most-talked about story of Speedweeks in February. The announcement came early enough in 2008 that fans were able to overlook Jr.'s awful 2007 season, with just 3 top 10s and the worst points finish of his full-time career. Jr., re-energized, should certainly get back to Victory Lane this year now that he's back in top-notch equipment, and likely will at a minimum contend for a Chase position.
