2008 Season Outlook
Greg Biffle suffered from serious Champion's Sickness in 2007, as he missed the Chase for the first time since 2004 and struggled to perform on the mile and a half tracks, historically his best tracks. After earning 4 wins, 19 top 10s, and 6 poles on his way to his first Championship in 2006, Biffle dropped to just 1 win, 12 top 10s, and 0 poles and finished 13th in the standings. He clearly earned the "Best of the Rest" trophy, but it was certainly no consolation prize for the Roush driver. Biffle won't have a new crew chief on the pit box, however, sticking with Greg Erwin in the hopes that the COT will bring Roush back towards the front. If Roush does improve, Biffle should be right back in the thick of the title hunt. If not, it could be another long season for "The Biff."
