JD Motorsports signs Davis, Gunselman
Johnny Davis, owner of JD Motorsports, told reporters this afternoon from Bristol Motor Speedway that he will continue to run 2 full-time cars next season, with or without a sponsor. "I love this sport, and I can't even think about what I'd do with myself if I wasn't at the race track," said Davis. He continued on to say that he has a handshake agreement with both Kertus Davis and Larry Gunselman to run part-time schedules along with Danny Efland in the #01 Chevy for the team. "I've never been one that thinks the only way to run a successful team is to have one driver. Having a bunch of different guys behind the wheel not only keeps more young guys and old guy in the sport but it gives us a better evaluation of where our team is at.
