I have decided to come up with an interesting idea. I am going to run a season will all of the fantasy drivers that came with the original NR2003 game. There will be 36 races and the races will be about 75% less the distance of the Winston Cup Series races.

After the 2003 Winston Cup Fantasy season, major changes will occur for next year's season. In 2004, the Winston Cup Series schedule will be reduced 25 races. In addition, a Busch Series and Truck Series division will be added. The Busch Series will have 24 races, while the Truck Series will have 14 races. Furthermore, the field for the Cup Series will expand to 30 drivers while the Busch Series and the Truck Series will have 26 and 22 car fields, respectively. Vandergriff will leave O'Kelvin Racing
Steve Vandergriff, driver of the #135 O'Kelvin Dodge, will leave O'Kelvin Racing after the 2003 season. So far, in 23 races, Vandergriff is 27th (dead last) in points with 1 top-5 and 4 top-10's. In addition, Vandergriff has 2 poles and the 3rd best average starting position out of all drivers (11.70).

Big fan of the shorter schedule. I feel like the length of the NASCAR schedule, is NASCAR's biggest problem. That and the races are way too long for the average person.
People in sports need to realize that less is more.

I actually like this idea I kindof always wanted to use the fantasy drivers like on NASCAR Thunder 2004 and build them up. As much as I want to though I don't want to copy you and well hog everything on here cause I've already got my plate full but I just love doing these NR2003 Series.
Keep up the work cause I know I'll be watching.

Just curious, does anyone know where I can find some high resolution shots of fictional cars from NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup? I thought about painting some of them to use in my NR2003 mock series.

I could try and get you some pictures of some cars from NASCAR Thunder 2004 if those will help.
