Danny O'Quinn Jr. to drive for Team Rensi Motorsports in '08
In a press conference this morning at Bristol Motor Speedway, Team Rensi Motorsports announced the signing of 2006 NASCAR Busch Series Rookie of the Year Danny O'Quinn Jr. O'Quinn will partner with David Gilliland at Team Rensi Motorsports, as the organization will once again field to full-time Ford Fusions. Gilliland will drive the #25 Freecreditreport.com Ford full-time, as O'Quinn Jr. will take over the #35 McDonald's Ford for all 35 races. "I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank Ed Rensi for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime," said O'Quinn Jr. "We all know the success of the Rensi team the past few years, and I really look forward to this big full-time shot in a national NASCAR series. Jack Roush gave me the opportunity back in 2006 and I am grateful for his guidance the past years, but all good things must come to an end and I look forward to starting anew at Team Rensi."
