BER plucks away another ARCA driver Braun-Edwards Racing announced this morning the signing of rising star Justin Marks to its Nationwide Series program for 2008. Marks, currently running in the ARCA Racing Series, finished 33rd in points in 2006, earning 1 top 5 and 2 top 10s in just 10 races. '06 was also his first ever experience running ovals, as the soon-to-be 26-year old driver previously participated in the Rolex Sports Car Series. Marks will join veterans John Andretti and Brian Vickers in the #10 ABF Freight Toyota, and BER will continue to search for other drivers to partner with. "This is a really awesome early birthday present," said Marks. "I've barely been running oval racing, but Mr. Braun and Mr. Edwards have given me a huge boost in confidence by signing me to a development deal already". "Justin is a tremendously talented driver, and we think the sky's the limit for him," said co-owner Todd Braun. "I'm glad we were able to sign him early, because as his ARCA campaign progresses this season, people will see more and more success and he would have been a hot name for next year's Nationwide season".
