2008 Season Outlook
Johnny Davis's small-budget NNS team returns again for 2008, with a new cast of drivers and sponsors involved with the entire organization. After competing in 29 of 35 races last year with primarily Eric McClure, but also Kevin Lepage and J.R. Fitzpatrick, Davis turns to a combination of Lepage, veteran Mike Wallace, and the inexperienced Blake Feese and Brett Hudson. While McClure left along with sponsor Hefty, the team is still surviving with sponsorship for 18 of 36 races, more than other teams can say in the struggling economy. But perhaps the best news for this team is that they will be in the first 5 races of the season, regardless of what happens in qualifying. JR Motorsports relinquished a spot inside the top 30 that they were not going to use to JD Motorsports for no cost at all, so with veterans behind the wheel and new sponsors to impress, it's safe to say that the #0 team should improve upon its 35th place finish from 2007.
