2008 Season Outlook
Bryan Mullet's single-car CJM Racing team will become a full-time operation beginning with the 2008 season. Last year, Mullet entered his #11 Chevy in 16 races, with Jason Keller piloting it for 15 while Marc Mitchell took over for the 16th. Keller earned 4 top 10s, while Mitchell finished 20th in his lone appearance, which suggests that the #11 car has decent equipment underneath it. With better full-time funding from America's Incredible Pizza Company this year, the team should be able to handle to upgrade to a full schedule. Keller is no longer with the team, though, as NNS veteran Kenny Wallace joins the team for 28 of the 36 races. Mitchell, who impressed Mullet despite having DNFs in 3 of his 4 career starts, will handle 4 races, while Jorge Goeters will tackle the 4 road course events. With predominantly veteran status on the team, Mullet should expect his car to be a regular top 20 finisher. Wallace has boatloads of experience and will likely make his 400th NNS start this season, so he knows how to keep the car clean. Don't count him out for a surprise victory this season.
