2008 Season Outlook
JTG Racing expands from a two-car team to a two and a half car team in 2008, adding the #14 previously operated by Carl A. Haas for 12 races. Manning the #14 for 7 of the 12 races will be Kyle Krisiloff, the nephew of IndyCar executive Tony George. Krisiloff ran the #14 full-time last season, but Haas was unable to find sponsorship and sold the team to Jodi and Tad Geschickter. JTG Racing allowed Krisiloff to stay on board and keep racing, but only for a limited schedule as the team only has funding from Bush's Baked Beans for 12 races. The other 5 will be filled by Truck Series driver Joey Clanton, who is forced to move up to the NNS in order to keep running in the sport. Clanton actually competed in 18 races in 2003, but has not competed in NNS since then. Frank Kerr will be on top of the pit box for these two, as his veteran status should allow them to maximize their potential in their limited action. With such a small slate of races, neither should post great results, but a top 10 here and there is certainly not out of the question.
