The Winston Starting grid Green flag!Kyle Petty takes the lead at the end of the first lap Lap 13; Derrike Cope and Bill Elliott side by side in turn 4 battling in the top 5. Lap 24; Earnhardt passes Rudd for the 6th place Lap 30; Kyle Petty wins undisturbed the first segment
Segment two - 30 laps
Green flag! The field is inverted, so Richard Petty starts in front with Rick Wilson along side him. After the first lap, Wilson pulls away. Lap 12; Schrader is chasing down the race leader. Lap 19; the Winston Open winner Mark Martin is in 4th place, in front of his teammate Dallenbach jr. Wilson wins the 2nd segment in front of Schrader.
Segment three - 10 laps Green flag! 300.000 $ on the line!Lap 3; Earnhardt and Petty pass Labonte on the inside. Wilson is the leader. Lap 5; Earnhardt takes the lead in turn 1 Lap 7; Schrader in 3rd place Dale Earnhardt wins The Winston for the 2nd time in his career! RACE RESULTS
