After a hiatus of a few months, Andy Petree stated that it is back as a NASCAR owner.
Petree said he needed a break, because being owner is hard work. He also said he took advantage of this break in the search for sponsors.
"It was a good vacation. The team was growing, but could not keep it the way it was. This time off was good to get sponsorships, which are more than needed to keep the team at a high level", said.
The sponsors were also presented today. Monaco Coaches is the main sponsor of the car, which will run a limited schedule this season. Petree also drew support from Menard's, which sponsored some teams in CART.
Asked on races that the team will do, Petree not answered.
