2008 Season Outlook
One of the longest running full-time Nationwide Series-only drivers will return to full-time status in 2008 after a 2-year hiatus. Jason Keller, owner of 422 career NNS starts, will drive the #27 Kimberly-Clark Ford full-time for Brewco Motorsports. From 1994 through 2005, Keller competed full-time for 12 consecutive seasons, never winning a championship, but amassing 9 top 10 points finishes, including a 3-year stretch of 2nd, 3rd, and 2nd results. Last season, Keller split his 21 races between the #27 team and the #11 CJM Racing team, while Casey Atwood, Brad Baker, Ward Burton, Bobby East, Jorge Goeters, Robby Gordon, and Johnny Sauter all took turns in the #27. This year, Atwood and Sauter move to the #37 Brewco car while the remaining drivers are no longer with the team, allowing Keller to once again pursue a championship. The Brewco cars are generally competitive, and with rising crew chief Todd Gordon taking over and Keller's experience helping Gordon get acquainted to this series, fans should expect to see Keller racing competitively once more.
