2008 Season Outlook
2006 Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year Danny O'Quinn Jr. returns full-time to the series after a marginally successful part-time Cup stint with Roush Racing. Despite having been booted from the NNS part of the team, he had the chance to race in Cup for 6 races and actually earned 2 top 10 finishes. That small showing of success opened the door for him to run for Team Rensi Motorsports in the #35 Ford full-time this upcoming season, with sponsorship from McDonald's. He replaces Bobby Hamilton Jr., who drove the #35 to a 6th place finish in the points standings. Chad Norris joins up as the crew chief, and his expertise should help the #35 continue their success. While O'Quinn didn't have sterling success back in '06, he did perform well enough to suggest that he has a chance at a top 10 points finish in 2008.
