2008 Season Outlook
Brewco Motorsports' second full-time car in 2008 will again be the #37 Ford. This year, a quartet of drivers will be featured for anywhere from 7 to 12 races, a rather even distribution. While teammate Jason Keller chases the driver championship in the #27 Ford for Brewco, Casey Atwood will lead the way with 12 starts in the 37. Right there with him, and the driver who will start the season, is 2002 Nationwide champ and 2006 Sprint Cup champ Greg Biffle, who'll race for 10 events. Biffle also brings a little bit of funding from his primary Cup Series sponsor, Gander Mountain. They'll cover 3 much-needed races, while 2 events are still left without a sponsor for the #37 team. Meanwhile, for 7 races each will be Johnny Sauter and Jason White. Sauter comes from a well-known racing family and has a good deal of NNS experience, while White has raced in just 42 races across 7 seasons. He's never achieved a top 10 before, but he brings sponsorship from GunBroker.com. On a team that's a little tight on money, those 19 races are crucial and are a big part of why White got the seat. Overall, this team is one of the more experienced ones, with White having the least experience, and should be in good shape for a top 15-20 performance most weekends.
