2008 Season Outlook
Mac Hill Motorsports will return to the Nationwide Series again in 2008 with the #56 Kymco Chevy. This year, a quartet of drivers will each have a 4 race opportunity to show that they can be the long-term solution that MHM is looking for. Kenny Hendrick, who hasn't raced in NNS since 2004, will be the first driver to have a stint, but Terry Cook, Kraig Kinser, and Tim Schendel will all have equal opportunities. Cook and Kinser have both yet to start a NNS race, but both Truck Series experience they can lean on. Schendel, though, has just 1 career NNS start and 3 Truck Series starts. He is the 2006 NASCAR Midwest Series Champion, and clearly has a good sense of speed. Despite the sponsorship from Kymco, though, the #56 team is not a large budget by any means. Don't expect this team to be a consistent top 20 performer when it qualifies, as they have a long way to go before becoming a legitimate threat in NNS.
