At the official presentation of the Phoenix Racing for 2008, some drivers were interviewed about their hopes for next season.
Scott Wimmer: "It's a great opportunity to get good results. I had a disappointing 2007 with the team of Rusty Wallace and now I have the chance. Now with the Car of Tomorrow the pairing will be bigger and competitiveness as well. We can go far."
Brian Simo: "The car will have a good setup in road courses and gives to achieve good results with it. I don't say a victory, but a top 15 or a top 20 would be great."
Giuliano Losacco: "Three races ahead: a challenging Darlington, a road course in Watkins Glen and a short track in Bristol. I believe that after two titles Stock Car Brazil and a top 10 in the Camping World East Series, have to take this whole experience for the Sprint Cup in 2008."
Felipe Giaffone: "You know, I have experience with these two tracks while driving in IndyCar, I can bring good things of these two tracks to NASCAR."
Ricky Craven: "I'm not even describe this as a chance that James Finch gave me. I will return to run officially on the track where I got my first win... very emotional. The car is somewhat limited, but I believe I can get anywhere with it."
