Welcome to the North vs South Outlaw late model series. Both the North and South tours will be running a 10 race regular season. Points structure is a based off the current F1 system ( 25 18 15 12 10 8 6 4 2 1). All races will be 100 laps. At the conclusion of the 10 races, there will be a 4 race finale at neutral sites for the top 10 in points of the combined tours. The 4 finale races will be 125 laps. Bonus points will be awarded to the top 5 from each division ( 25 15 10 6 2) as a reward for their hard work during their 10 race regular season. "Double dipping" (running both tours) is not allowed. Drivers will either run the north or south tour, not both. All drivers are fictional using a random name generator (unless the original author put a name on it and I forgot to change it).

Cool! I can't remember the name of the series, but I know a series did a system like this and it worked good.
How are you determining the ratings?
Are you using real life drivers?

No real life drivers, unless someone accidental sneaked in.
The raitings is what I've had the hardest time with. As all the drivers are fictional I had nothing to base them on. So I decided that for the start of the year everyone would have the same ratings (55-75). I figured after race 4, 8 and before the start of the final 4 I would adjust based off season standings. Either by increasing the top drivers in the standings or dropping the lower drivers down. I still want to keep the field close tho.
