Wimmer to drive full season with James Finch
James Finch told reporters on a phone call this morning that Scott Wimmer has agreed to run for the Nationwide Series championship next season, driving the #1 Miccosukee Resorts Chevy. "Scott and I have had conversations in the past but they've never really materialized", Finch said. "This conversation finally got somewhere and I real excited to have driving with us, we are a sleeper to grab some wins next year." Wimmer is currently spending this season in a part-time Cup Series ride with Rusty Wallace Racing, though it is unclear whether or not RWR will field another Cup Series team.
