Obviously from the lack of updates over the last couple of months, it's evident that I'm very busy at college and I simply don't have the time to do the Mock Season project with the same level of detail and focus I've had in the past. At this point, I don't really have any interest in half-assing it; I'd much prefer to either go all-in or just not do it, and with my lack of free time, the only option right now is to not do it. On top of that, I'm having problems with NR2003 crashing and Score4 acting strange and I just don't have the heart or energy to figure out why that's happening. With all of that said, I'll be taking a break from the Mock Season project, and I don't know how long it will be. I enjoyed it when I had the time to give it the time it deserved, so I'd like to eventually come back, but I am not going to say that I definitely will start up again; it's a possibility that I just won't ever start back up. I'll still be around on the boards, though, so feel free to ask me to move threads, create sub-forums, etc.
tl;dr I don't have the time to give this any effort or the energy to fix a couple issues and am taking an indefinitely long break.

Shame to hear that but at some point other things come up. Hopefully others that do leagues(myself included) continue where you left off.

If you're having trouble with NR2003 and Score4, then why don't you just ask for help on SRD?
I'm not saying that I disapprove of your decision to take some time off, if that's what you wanna do then I have no problems, I mean it's not like this is the first time something like this has happened. But I am surprised that you didn't ask for help when the problems started being...well, problematic, if not for the lack of a better term.
But again, we're perfectly fine with your decision, Brendan. Go handle your personal stuff, we'll take good care of the place while you're gone. Right guys?

@bobbyricky62 yeah, I could have done that, but that stuff is only part of the problem. If I was only having problems with the programs and still had time, I would definitely go out and ask for help but with no time it just isn't worth it. I know it's disappointing for all of you and I feel bad about it, but I've got bigger and more important things to do in my life and this stuff is just a hobby so it's gotta take a backseat. toyotacupseries once you click on a sub-board at the top right of the section there's a button called "Create Thread". |

No, it's staying open. There just won't be any updates to the original Mock Season Project for the foreseeable future.
