Race #19 - Kroger 200
The NASCAR Busch Grand National Series made their 19th stop of the 1984 season in Clermont, Indiana, the site of the Indianapolis Raceway Park for the Kroger 200.
Jimmy Lawson led the field to the Green Flag but it would be Geoffrey Bodine who would pass Lawson in Turn 1 and would lead the first 13 laps before Morgan Shepherd would take over. With Shepherd in the lead, he began to pull away from everyone else and would keep the lead through the lone pit stops of the day. One driver that needed pit stops was Dale Jarrett, whose's crew finally hit the right adjustment and just before the first caution would come out, Jarrett would pass Shepherd for the lead.
Once Jarrett was in the lead there was no stopping him, as he used lap traffic to slow Shepherd down and allow Jarrett to pull away, as Jarrett easily scored his second win of the year.

Morgan Shepherd won the real race, while Dale Jarrett finished 5th.
And I too support the idea of points being posted along with race results.

As a suggestion, you should post the points along with the results. As a reminder to everyone, because this forum is different then the one I run myself, I only post the point standings over there because I have more space over there. If anyone would like you can always follow along there for points on all the series I do, I just post everything over there as well in case I ever have a falling out with people on a forum like before. oreiusnascarleagues.proboards.com/

Race #20 - Busch 200
The NASCAR Busch Grand National Series made their 20th stop of the 1984 season in Hampton, Virginia, the site of the Langley Speedway for the Busch 200.
Robert Ingram led the field to the Green Flag for the first time in his career and would lead the first 18 laps as the 0.395 short track proved to once again be a calm race for the twenty one drivers. An early caution allowed teams to pit early and adjust their cars while others chose to stay out for track position. One driver who took advantage of that was Bubba Adams, who in only his seventh start, was able to hold off well known names for almost sixty laps before veteran Jack Ingram took the lead.
Jack Ingram was driving not for himself this race but Ronnie Silver and was looking to prove Silver had chosen well as Ingram would lose the lead briefly during the last round of pit stops and would hold off Eddie Falk for his second win in the last three races.
Other Noticeables: Jack Ingram scored his 2nd win of the year, Ingram led 2 times for 120 laps, including the final 88 laps, It was the 9th win of his career in the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series and his first since Hickory; 2 races ago, Sam Ard, who finished 14th, kept his points lead, leading Tommy Houston by 183 points
