Daytona 500@ Daytona Int Speedway Well I'm sorry that this update is a bit of a lacking, shall I say. I did the 500 on 05/16/16 so it has been a while Lets get on with the goodies shall we David Regan got the pole, while Kasey Kahne would lock out the front row. Duel 1 would go smoothly, with Juan Pablo Montoya winning the first Gatorade Duel, while Bill Elliott, Sterling Marlin, and Mike Bliss would transfer into the Daytona 500. Duel 2 would not go so well, as 2 major wrecks off of turn 4 caused mayhem. But that was not the end, as cars started to run out of fuel at the end of the race, and parked dead smack in the middle of the track. Kurt Busch won the action packed race, while Regan Smith, Ward Burton, and Boris Said would get the transfer spots. lastly was the Daytona 500, the Great American Race. There was 26 lead changes among 19 drivers, while 2 wrecks occurred in turn 4, proving to be a major trouble spot. This would set up a late race dash between Jeff Gordon, and Tony Stewart, both drivers using lapped cars as picks to get around each other. In the end Tony Stewart would take victory with a last lap pass on Jeff Gordon, adding his name to the list of 500 champions
