Well it was an up and down day for me, but I had to struggle with my setup on long runs and also cars wrecking me. I was running around top 10 most of the start but after about 20 laps on my tires I got really loose and went into the wall that put me back all the way to the end of the field. But I pit earlier than everyone else and when I came out I could make up a lot of ground. Then I had some luck because about 8 laps after I pit the yellow came out so I got my lap back, that also put a good number of drivers a lap down.
The end of the race, 2nd from last yellow I pit to get new tires and that put me around 14th the last car on the lead lap, but I figured with new tires I could pass some back. But white flag and the #90 got loose coming out of 1 and slammed into the side of me and that put my car into the inside wall so I finished 15th.
In other news, Tony Stewart seemed to be in first most the race with the exception of a few laps here and there, also Ricky Rudd and Dale Jr. both spent most the day up front. Jeff Gordon kind of had the same luck as me, he was involved in an accident and just couldnt find the speed to move up the field. Jeff Burton who was 2nd in points, was involved in the big accident at the start of the race that put him a lap down early in the race.
