This race I had a fast car but it was more turn and burn on my tires, my tires fell off so quickly here within 20 laps my rear tires were yellow and was really loose off of the turns. So the other drivers pretty much caught up to me and passed me. Luckily we had a few yellows so I could make more pit stops to change those tires. I could of been worse off here if we didnt have yellows but managed a top 10.
Most of the drivers in the top 5 in points also had good finishes here.
As in the real race of 2001, Nemechek was running well most of the race but his speeds fell off towards the end... but he won the real race here.
Right now in point standings Jarrett is just 65 points off of Thomson in 1st with 3 races left.
