McClure to D'Hondt in '08
In a PR appearance for sponsor Hefty, Eric McClure told fans that he will be running 8 races in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2008. With McClure-Morgenthau Racing closing, his prospects of racing in the Sprint Cup Series appeared slim, and he felt that "the opportunity presented to me was the best I will get". McClure, with sponsorship from Hefty, will run 8 races in the #92 Toyota Camry for Riley-D'Hondt Racing, joining David Green, who is scheduled to run the #91, although sponsorship has not materialized for that team yet.
