Race #6 - Provimi Veal Tony Bettenhausen 200
The CART Series made their 6th stop of 1982 at the Milwaukee Mile, in West Allis, Wisconsin, for the Provimi Veal Tony Bettenhausen 200.
Rick Mears lead the first two laps before he was passed by Bobby Rahal, Rahal's lead would only last three laps before Pancho Carter took over and would lead for much of the first half of the race until Mario Andretti took over. Andretti would keep a hold of the lead till just after the halfway mark when Tom Sneva would pass Andretti. Sneva would pull away over the remaining laps, building up a lead of fifteen seconds and would score his first win in nearly two years.

Race #7 - Domino's Pizza Pocono 500The CART Series made their 7th stop of 1982 at the Pocono International Raceway, in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, for the Domino's Pizza Pocono 500. Mike Mosley led the field to the Green Flag as for the first time in two years the CART Series raced at the Tricky Triangle, but it was Kevin Cogan who would lead the first two laps before he was passed by Rick Mears. Mears would lead for the first quarter of the race until he fell out of contention after being in two wrecks, allowing of Cogan to assume the lead and would dominate the day, leading 91 of the event's 200 laps, but it was Bobby Rahal who would hold the lead as the field took the white flag as Cogan waited till just before the final turn to make his move, clearing Rahal and would go on to score the first win of his career. Race #9 - Road America 200The CART Series made their 9th stop of 1982 at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, for the inaugural Road America 200. Bobby Rahal led the field to the Green Flag and quickly jumped out to an early lead around the four mile road course, with Rahal using his past experience on road courses to keep all of his challengers behind him as his lead built up more and more with each passing lap, getting as big as thirty seconds, even during pit stops, Rahal was able to keep his pace and when the caution did finally come out, just after Rahal took the white flag, the race ended under caution, giving Rahal his first career win. al unser jr- this season is number 28/47 i done made but heres the simple addition kurt angle this season is intitially '1988' and i started wit season 1986 so i got full carsets 33 cars each for cart seasons 26 to 47 but be warned there a lot off ddlc cars and garfield cars...
al unser jr- wit da exseption that season 34 season 34 is only 24 cars custhats how it is
