The league is currently in Silly Season mode.
Nationwide has stepped down as the title sponsor with many partners interested in title sponsorship. That will be announced in the coming weeks.
In order to bring back the series for a second season, teams have been required to send in their registrations for the whole season. A new style of car has been introduced to keep costs down for the race teams, create better racing and a more even playing field. There will be a new driver rating and money system implemented to correlate with the new beginnings of the series.
The field has been expanded to 42 cars per race as opposed to the 40 that qualified for each of the season 1 races. After registrations have been received, the races with the least amount of entries stands at 49 with the most being 57.
