Point Standings Race 22: KentuckyStandings Chase Bubble 9th - Clint Johnson (+24) 10th - Carson Atkins (+2) ________________________________ 11th - Luis Suarez (-2) 12th - Sarah Cooper (-4) 14th - Katie Durhamm (-25) 15th - Alice Peters (-29) 16th - Chris Burton (-33) 17th - Nate Beasley (-34) Wild Card Spots 13th - Landon Kaiser (1 Win) 18th - Andy Houston (1 Win) Notable Drivers 22nd - Anna Kelley (1 Win) 27th - James Davidson (1 Win) The Good: - Carson Atkins currently now holds the last Chase spot. Should he make it, he will become the first rookie to make the Chase since 2004. - Alice Peters jumps up to 15th in points with another top 3 finish. She'll need 4 perfect races to make it in on points. - Allison Coyne scores her first career top 10. She has also been beating her more experienced, and skilled teammate, Nick Rodriguez by a wide margin. The Bad: - James Davidson's Dover win is probably the sole thing that saved his season - pit road mistakes, crashes, mistakes, rivalries and bad luck have weighed this team down in almost every race this year. - Katie Durhamm, Chris Burton, and Steve Perry all have poor to bad runs here. Perry now needs a win to make it in - Durhamm and Burton will also likely need a win or 4 perfect races. - Austin Bell records his 6th DNF on the year. Good news is, most have come in races of high attrition, and he is still running a respectable 30th in points.
