Introduction

Welcome to my part of the forum! My name is Steve and I will be taking you on a journey through the glory days of NASCAR through my own 'career mode'. Since our beloved game doesn't offer a career mode I will have to do all the legwork to make this thing work myself. This included downloading cars, sets, tracks and then putting the cars in sets, getting custom season files ready and then adjusting ratings and track.ini folders. After a lot of time spent I think I'm ready to go with this thing here. I will start racing in 1990 and will be racing in many racing series along the way including some that are fictional. Here is a list of the series that will be in this career in no particular order.

Real Series
- NASCAR Winston Cup Series
- NASCAR Busch Series
- NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
- NASCAR Busch North Series
- NASCAR Modified Series (North and South)
- IROC Series

Fictional Series
- NASCAR Sportsman Series (Real but this version will have a full schedule)
- NASCAR All Pro Series (Real but this version will have some fake drivers and schedule not historically accurate)
- NASCAR DieHard Series (Completely fictional national series with four regional divisions. Mostly real drivers though)

All my series point standings will use the NASCAR Winston Cup Point System from 1975-2003. There will be no stage racing, chase or playoff format.

The schedules in this playthrough may not be historically accurate. For example North Wilkesboro Speedway will not lose it's dates in my universe. Also, some tracks that opened later on in real life will be in my universe throughout.

The drivers and teams will be historically accurate for the most part aside from a few things.

This will be a documentary of my career so don't expect too much detail into a series I'm not full-time in. However, I will post yearly point standings after each season.

I will also be an owner at some point in this thing and I will post the results of my driver(s) in the races my cars are in.
