Race Notes:
Prerace: Issues during qualifying for Hamilton and Ricciardo see both Force India in the top 5. Hamiltons teammate Bottas starts 8th after his 5 place grid penalty drops him from 3rd. 78 laps, longest race of the season. Similar to China there might be weirdness but we'll see.

Lap 1: Vettel gets a good start, as does Leclerc against Alonso as Leclerc jumps into 9th. Bottas does his first pass through the tunnel against Magnussen for 7th. Hamilton up two positions as well at the end of lap 1.
Lap 3: Vettel has set the fastest lap over Raikkonen.
Lap 4: Ricciardo hasn't made any ground and Hamilton is down in 12th following Sirotking, everyone is now just managing their rhythm.
Lap 5: Vettel up 2 seconds on Verstappen with Raikkonen 3 seconds back. Hamilton gets around Sirotkin for 11th.
Lap 7: Vettel sets a fastest lap in the 1:28 range (Hamilton has the second fastest lap which is 1:29.025)
Lap 13: Vettel has opened up a 4 second lead over Verstappen with Raikkonen still following behind.
Lap 19: Vettel now with a 6 second lead, and is 24 seconds over Perez in 4th.
Lap 30: Vettel has caught up to the tail of lap traffic with a 9 second plus lead.
Lap 32: Vettel stuck behind traffic now, Verstappen trying to catch up.
Lap 33: Verstappen has cut Vettels lead down by half to 4.84 seconds.
Lap 34: Ricciardo pits from 16th, Ericsson pits aswell. Verstappen and Raikkonen have caught Vettel and the lap traffic.
Lap 36: Whoever pits first of the leaders will have the advantage of cleanest track. Alonso and Sainz pits, Hulkenberg smashes the barrier. Sirotkin also pits as well.
Lap 37: Vettel comes into the pits with Verstappen and Raikkonen. Perez, Ocon, Bottas, Magnussen, and Hamilton all pit as well.
Lap 38: Vettel and Verstappen come out ahead of Stroll who is in front of Raikkonen.
Lap 39: Order after pit stops: Vettel, Verstappen, Raikkonen, Perez, Ocon, Leclerc, Bottas, Sainz, Alonso, Magnussen, Hamilton, RIcciardo, Sirotkin are all on the lead lap. Grosjean retires from the race.
Lap 40: Bottas chases down Ocon for 5th after jumping Sainz during pit stops.
Lap 43: 13th place Sirotkin starting to hold up Vettel.
Lap 56: Perez pits from 4th, comes out ahead of 7th. Alonso and Magnussen pit as well.
Lap 57: Raikkonen pits from 3rd, Bottas pits from 6th, Leclerc pits from 8th, Ricciardo from 10th.
Lap 58: Verstappen brushes the wall a little bit. Safety car comes Ericsson and Vandoorne collide going out of the pits and spin.
Lap 59: Hamilton is 1 lap down, meanwhile Sirotkin is in sight of a points finish.
Lap 60: Vettel pits from the lead, Verstappen and Ocon pit as well but Ocon comes out in front of Vettel. Raikkonen will take the lead when we go back racing. Race control adding two laps to allow lapped cars to go around and catch up. This includes Alonso, Ricciardo, Hamilton, Leclerc, and Magnussen.
Lap 62: Ocon somehow leads a lap under yellow even though Raikkonen didn't pit?
Lap 63: Order on restart: Raikkonen, Vettel, Verstappen, Perez, Bottas, Sainz, Sirotkin, Alonso, Magnussen, Ocon, Hamilton, Leclerc, Ricciardo all on the lead lap. Sergey moves up into 6th position.
Lap 68: Raikkonen opens up a 15 second lead over Vettel.
Lap 75: Raikkonen has a 33 second lead over Vettel and Verstappen.
Lap 77: Verstappen has to come in for a flat tire, Raikkonen blows a tire and has to go around super slow, and Vettel takes the lead coming into the final lap.

Race Notes:
Prerace: Lewis Hamilton starts in the back after spinning out in the last corner during his flying lap, and hasn't felt comfterable all weekend here. Rookie Leclerc starts 7th, and 8 total constructors start in the top 10 (RBR, Ferrari, Mercedes, HAAS, Force India, Alfa Romeo, and Toro Rosso. Toro Rosso in the top 10 in the first time in quite some time as they've struggled since the first race. Both Renault qualify outside of the top 10 along with both Williams outside.

Lap 1: Verstappen gets a great start, Raikkonen slots in 2nd from 3rd, Bottas now in 3rd, and Vettel in 5th after Ricciardo overtakes him.
Lap 2: Ricciardo takes 3rd away from Bottas as the RBR cars seem strong here.
Lap 3: Vettel gets around Bottas for 4th, Gasly falls to 11th place.
Lap 4: Raikkonen takes the lead from Verstappen and Ricciardo falls back to 4th. Ocon spins and brings out the safety car as he falls to last place.
Lap 6: Green is out and they go 3 wide for 3rd!
Lap 8: Raikkonen leads, Verstappen, Vettel, Ricciardo, Bottas, Magnussen, Hamilton, Alonso, and Grosjean are all right there fighting for points.
Lap 9: Hamilton already up to 7th from last on the grid.
Lap 10: Vettel gets around Verstappen for 2nd to make it a Ferrari 1-2.
Lap 11: Hamilton moves up into 6th place putting Magnussen in 7th.
Lap 12: Verstappen gets around Vettel for 2nd and Ricciardo right behind attempts to get around Vettel for 3rd but fails that lap.
Lap 14: Vettel spins out from 3rd! He rejoins in 6th position.
Lap 15: Bottas gets around Ricciardo for 3rd as Hamilton now is in 5th.
Lap 16: Raikkonen has opened up a 5 second lead over Verstappen now.
Lap 17: Vettel gets around Magnussen for 6th as Hamilton gets done passing Ricciardo for 4th.
Lap 20: Top 10 have pulled away with Leclerc in 10th. Strong Ferrari engine track it appears as half the cars in points are Ferrari engine.
Lap 21: Bottas gets around Verstappen for 2nd but Verstappen gets him back in turn 3. Bottas gets him back in the last corner as the RBR cars are struggling on old tires.
Lap 22: Hamilton gets around Verstappen to take 3rd place.

Lap 24: Alonso moves up to 7th after passing Mangussen.
Lap 25: Raikkonen has a 5 and a half second lead but the two Mercedes are eating away at his lead.
Lap 26: Hamilton passes around Bottas for 2nd. Leclerc moves up into 9th place bring Grosjean down to 10th.
Lap 27: Another switcheroo for the Mercedes as Bottas moves back to 2nd.
Lap 29: Hamilton back into 2nd as they're now losing time battling each other.
Lap 30: Grosjean moves back to 9th as Vettel is looking for a chance to get around Ricciardo.
Lap 31: Bottas takes 2nd away from Hamilton.
Lap 33: Verstappen pits from 4th, as does Vettel. Magnussen, Grosjean, and more behind pit.
Lap 34: Raikkonen comes into pit road with both Mercedes, Ricciardo, Alonso, and Leclerc all come into pit road.
Lap 35: Ocon has a slow pit stop repairing damage from spinning out, he comes out last.
Lap 36: Order after pit stops: Raikkonen, Hamilton, Verstappen, Bottas, Vettel, Ricciardo, Magnussen, Alonso, Grosjean, Leclerc.
Lap 37: Ocon goes 1 lap down to Raikkonen. Raikkonen maintains a 5.47 second lead over Hamilton and Verstappen.
Lap 38: Raikkonen puts Vandoorne one lap down. Bottas gets around Verstappen for 3rd place.
Lap 39: After having to nurse the tires he spun around for 20 laps, Vettel has come alive and is setting fast laps catching up to the leaders.
Lap 41: Raikkonen puts down Sirotkin and Hartley both 1 lap down.
Lap 42: Hamilton is catching Raikkonen, Hamilton has brought the lead down to 2.37 seconds as Raikkonen has a 10 second lead over Bottas and Verstappen. Safety car comes out after Grosjean clips Leclerc and sends them both spinning. Leclerc and Grosjean manage to stay on the lead lap (Leclerc damage to the front from hitting the barrier a tad).
Order as they run: Raikkonen, Hamilton, Verstappen, Bottas, Vettel, Ricciardo, Magnussen, Alonso, Ericsson, Perez
Lap 45: Alonso and Leclerc both pit from outside of the top 10. Safety car added a lap to let cars catch up.
Lap 46: Restart underway and the top 3 remain the same. Vettel jumps Bottas as Ricciardo tries the same.
Lap 48: Perez up to 7th from 9th on the restart, along with Gasly up to 8th.
Lap 50: Safety car out again for Magnussen after he got clipped by Ericsson. Bottas also self spun and fell back to 8th position.
Lap 51: Order as they run: Raikkonen, Hamilton, Verstappen, Vettel, Ricciardo, Perez, Gasly, Bottas, Hulkenberg, Ericsson, Sainz, Grosjean all there in the top 12.
Lap 52: Vettel jumps Verstappen and Hamilton into turn 1 as Verstappen jumps Hamilton who had a bad restart.
Lap 53: Vettel gets around Raikkonen for the lead.
Lap 54: Vettel self spins again! Verstappen and Hamilton make contact to avoid.
Lap 55: Raikkonen now has a 2 and a half second lead over Hamilton and Vettel now sits in 6th position.
Lap 56: Hamilton and Verstappen lost another second and a half as those behind are closing in.
Lap 57: Stroll vs Grosjean for the last point, Hulkenberg 9th and Gasly 8th.
Lap 58: Stroll falls back to 13th as he begins to struggle on old tires. Hulkenberg gets around Gasly for 8th place.
Lap 59: Vettel moves up into 5th position over Perez. Sainz and Grosjean now battle for 10th.
Lap 61: Gasly has a self spin in 8th and falls outside of the top 10.
Lap 63: Vettel self spins again, falls back to 7th.
Lap 65: Perez loses two spots to Bottas and Vettel,

Race Notes:
Prerace: Kinda funny that Grosjean had a bad qualifying and will start next to Ericsson after the grid penalties are applied.

Lap 1: Vettel jumps Bottas on the start, Raikkonen does the same to Ricciardo.
Lap 2: Vettel gets around Verstappen for 2nd place.
Lap 3: Sirotkin spins himself out battling for 19th, Ocon goes around Hulkenberg for 7th place.
Lap 5: Vettel sets the fastest lap of the race so far. Leclerc completes the pass on Hulkenberg for 8th place.
Lap 10: Hamilton has opened up a 2 second gap over Vettel, 5 seconds over Verstappen & Bottas, Raikkonen 7 seconds back, and 7th 20 seconds back.
Lap 13: Bottas around Verstappen for 3rd place.
Lap 17: Sainz has taken 9th from Hulkenberg, and Perez 10th from Hulkenberg.
Lap 18: Hulkenberg drops to 12th as Magnussen goes around.
Lap 24: Grosjean up to 14th after starting 19th from his penalty.
Lap 26: Bottas is now 9 seconds back from teammate Hamilton in the lead.
Lap 27: Grosjean does some passing and gets around Gasly for 13th.
Lap 28: Vandoorne comes in for a pit stop from 17th.
Lap 30: Vettel pits from second, Verstappen joins him along with.
Lap 31: Safety car is out. A big crash as Ocon has issues. Alonso is done, Grosjean involved with Hulkenberg, Gasly hit the Wall of Champions trying to avoid. Ocon was having issues with shifting and fell back to 11th before the wreck happened. Ocon goes to pit and hits the back of Hulkenberg and Grosjean spiining them out and Alonso hits the wall head on after hitting a spinning Grosjean. This does however put Leclerc one lap down to the leaders.
Order as they run: Hamilton, Bottas, Raikkonen, Ricciardo, Sainz, Vettel, Perez, Verstappen, Magnussen, Gasly, Hartley, Ericsson Sirotkin, Stroll.
Lap 33: Hamilton, Bottas, Raikkonen, Verstappen, Sainz, and Perez all pit. Out of pits its Vettel, Bottas, Hamilton, Raikkonen, Verstappen, Ricciardo, Sainz, Perez, Magnussen, Gasly.
Lap 34: Vettel gets a good jump as Hamilton almost spins trying to get around Bottas, and falls back to 5th position.
Lap 36: Sainz loses 2 positions and falls to 8th, while Magnussen moves from 9th to 7th in one lap.
Lap 37: Roles reversed, Sainz back up into 7th.
Lap 40: Hamilton almost loops it around trying to pass Raikkonen for 4th and loses time.
Lap 46: Sainz taps the wall and lets Magnussen go by for 7th.
Lap 47: Gasly pits from 10th place.
Lap 48: Raikkonen the fastest out of the top 6 right now.
Lap 49: Vettel has opened up a 10 second gap to Hamilton, 4 second gap over Raikkonen in 4th.
Lap 52: Vettel is now coming up on lap traffic of Grosjean and Hulkenberg. Safety car is out, Bottas and Grosjean crash hard!
Lap 53: Order as they run: Vettel, Verstappen, Raikkonen, Bottas, Hamilton, Ricciardo, Magnussen, Sainz, Perez, Ericsson, Stroll, Hartley, Gasly, Sirotkin.
Lap 54: Everyone comes into pits, Order out is: Raikkonen, Hamilton, Magnussen, Perez, Sainz, Ricciardo, Bottas, Gasly, Ericsson, Hartley, Stroll, Verstappen and Vettel have issues on pit and are stuck on pit road. Verstappen and Vettel will be 1 lap down now.
Lap 57: Ricciardo up to 4th on the restart with Magnussen in 3rd.
Lap 58: Hamilton takes the lead from Raikkonen, Ricciardo up to 3rd now, Magnussen 4th, Sainz 5th, Bottas 6th, Perez Gasly 8th, Stroll 9th, and Ericsson 10th.
Lap 59: Perez loses 3 spots and falls back to 10th.
Lap 60: Perez pits, Sirotkin up to 10th now.
Lap 61: Bottas has 10 laps to get up from 5th to 3rd, but don't forget he has damage from the crash with Grosjean.
Lap 64: Hartley moves up into the top 10 as he gets done passing Sirotkin.
Lap 64: Sainz holding onto 4th over Bottas.
Lap 67: Gasly around Magnussen for 6th position.

Lap 32: Order after pitstops: Hamilton, Ricciardo, Raikkonen, Bottas, Verstappen, Vettel, Sainz, Magnussen, Grosjean, Leclerc. Hamilton sets the 2nd fastest lap of the race.
Lap 33: Top 6 have opened up a 19 second lead over 7th and behind Sainz is over 30 seconds back.
Lap 35: Ricciardo starting to struggle, as Hamilton ahead is 5 seconds clear.
Lap 44: Sainz pits from 7th.
Lap 45: Hamilton and Bottas both pit, as does Leclerc.
Lap 46: Verstappen and Vettel pit from 3rd and 4th.
Lap 49: Vettel jumps up into 5th after getting around Bottas. Ricciardo (1st) Raikkonen (2nd) and Magnussen (4th) have yet to make a stop.
Lap 52: Ricciardo heads into the pits as Raikkonen stays out. He comes out behind team mate Verstappen.
Lap 53: Raikkonen comes into the pits along with everyone else who needed to make one last stop.

Lap 57: Hamilton and Vettel jump Vandoorne at the start, HAAS looking for their first podium finish.
Lap 58: Hamilton and Vettel both get around Ocon for 6th/7th. Vandoorne falls back to 13th from 9th.
Lap 62: Hamilton battling with Hulkenberg for 4th,

Race Notes:
Prerace: Raikkonen spins out, Hamilton has DRS issues, and Alonso had a hard time keeping it straight during qualifying. All three will start in the back and will try to make their way up.

Lap 1: Vettel with a good start holds onto the lead with Bottas behind.
Lap 2: Grosjean falls to 12th from 10th, losing both spots to the Force India cars. Hamilton up to 14th place and Raikkonen 16th.
Lap 3: Hamilton up to 12th now, Raikkonen to 14th.
Lap 5: Raikkonen and Hamilton are both in the top 10 now.
Lap 7: 5th is now around 10 seconds back, however Raikkonen (7th) and Hamilton (9th) are making their way towards the front.
Lap 9: Raikkonen into the top 5 as Hamilton stuck in traffic is down in 9th.
Lap 11: Hamilton up to 8th after getting around Gasly.
Lap 13: Hamilton into the top 6, but is now 18 seconds behind the leader, as Raikkonen is 9.5 seconds back.
Lap 15: Raikkonen catching up to the two RBR cars in 3-4th. Raikkonen is putting the fastest laps down currently.
Lap 18: Raikkonen now stuck behind Verstappen in 5th.
Lap 22: Vettel pits from the lead, Hulkenberg, Sainz, and Gasly all pit as well.
Lap 23: Bottas pits, as does both RBR cars, Raikkonen, and Hamilton all pit. Raikkonen jumps Verstappen during pitstops.
Lap 24: Bottas has to pit again for an issue! Ocon and Magnussen come in as well after disastrous pit stops.
Lap 25: With Bottas having issues, Vettel has opened up a 13 second lead over Ricciardo.
Lap 26: Hamilton sets the fastest lap of the race.
Lap 28: Vandoorne running 9th as of now, the only driver yet to score points this season.
Lap 34: Hamilton has caught up to 2nd-4th.
Lap 37: Vettel pits from the lead, as does everyone else but Raikkonen.
Lap 39: Raikkonen pits from the lead.
Lap 40: Verstappen moves up to 2nd, Ricciardo 3rd, Hamilton, Raikkonen, Hulkenberg, Gasly, Sainz, Vandoorne, and Grosjean.

Prerace: Ericsson starts last after the contact with Ocon at the British Grand Prix.

Lap 1: Hamilton with a good start, Vettel falls to 3rd after Raikkonen gets around. Poor start from both RBR cars, they fall to 5th and 7th.
Lap 5: Everyone holds onto their position as passing seems to be a big problem today.
Lap 8: Verstappen finally gets around Leclerc for 6th place.
Lap 11: Vandoorne falls to 10th place as Grosjean gets around.
Lap 12: Leclerc, Gasly, Grosjean, Alonso, and Ericsson all pit. Alonso gets into the back of Grosjean and Grosjean is now stuck in the pits.
Lap 13: Top 6 all pit. Raikkonen gets hit by his team mate! Vettel comes out second as Raikkonen has sidepod damage on the left side. Raikkonen leaves the pits in 5th after coming in while in 2nd.
Lap 14: Order as they run after pit stops: Hamilton, Vettel, Bottas, Ricciardo, Raikkonen, Verstappen, Leclerc, Gasly, Vandoorne, and Sainz now rounds out the top 10.
Lap 18: Ocon falls from 13th to 15th after begining to struggle on tires.
Lap 23: Leclerc pits, along with Gasly, Alonso, and Ericsson.
Lap 24: Hamilton, Vettel, Raikkonen, Ricciardo all pit. Also pitting is Vandoorne, Sainz, meanwhile Bottas and Verstappen stay out an extra lap. Vandoorne jumps Gasly in the pit cycle.
Lap 25: Bottas pits along with Verstappen.
Lap 26: Order after pit stops: Hamilton, Vettel, Bottas, Ricciardo, Raikkonen, Verstappen, Leclerc, Gasly, Vandoorne, and Sainz.
Lap 35: Leclerc into the pits again, Gasly joins him along with Alonso and Perez.
Lap 36: Hamilton pits with Raikkonen following, while Vettel, Bottas, and both RBR cars stay out. Vandoorne pits as well.
Lap 37: Vettel and Bottas pit, Ricciardo and Verstappen follow suit. Everyone else that needs to pit pits.
Lap 40: Hamilton within 10 seconds of catching up to Stroll and Co. Hamilton has built a 14 second lead over Vettel, and over 25 seconds on Ricciardo in 4th.
Lap 43: Perez goes wide and loses a few spots.
Lap 44: Gasly pits one last time.
Lap 45: Vettel catching, now only 11 and a half seconds back from the lead. Hamilton is 2 seconds within Stroll now. Leclerc pits along with Alonso and Perez. Hamilton dives into the pits right as he caught the Williams. Raikkonen also pits as well.
Lap 46: Safety Car is out! Sainz sends it into the barriers but manages to keep going.
Lap 47: Sergey Sirotkin runs into the back of Vettel hard in pitlane! Ricciardo has issues in the pits falls out of the points. Sainz retires after making it back to the pits (and somehow he led??) and Magnussen also retires with issues.
Lap 50: Order as they run: Hamilton, Stroll, Raikkonen, Vettel, Leclerc, Vandoorne, Gasly, Alonso, Bottas, Hulkenberg, Verstappen, Ocon. Raikkonen takes the lead from Hamilton on the long back straight.

Lap 2: Hamilton pits from 3rd, order as they run: Vettel, Verstappen, Raikkonen, Ricciardo, Perez, Grosjean, Bottas, Gasly, Magnussen, Sainz.
Lap 3: Safety car is out, Alonso squeezes Ericsson off track and both make contact. Hamilton will rejoin the race in 18th.
Lap 5: Sirotkin pulls into pit lane and exits over half a lap down.
Lap 6: Hamilton up to 17th as he struggles in traffic.
Lap 13: Hamilton up to 15th now, Bottas still in 6th behind Perez.

Race Notes:
Prerace: Alonso starts p13 after a penalty from last race. Mercedes gets their 4th pole in a row. All Finnish front row.

Lap 1: Hamilton jumps both RBR cars on the start as Bottas loses the lead to Raikkonen in the first turn. Bottas runs wide and loses 4 positions.
Lap 2: Gasly spins out after hitting the back of Perez turn 1. Verstappen gets around Ricciardo for 5th.
Lap 3: Vettel takes the lead from Raikkonen in turn 1.
Lap 4: Sainz hits the back of Perez and takes 7th.
Lap 5: Hamilton looks to the inside of Raikkonen, Perez pits to repair some damage.
Lap 6: Hamilton up to 2nd, Ocon takes 7th from Sainz, as does Grosjean for 8th. Leclerc makes his way up to 11th from 14th starting.
Lap 7: Hamilton takes the lead from Vettel.
Lap 9: Order as they run: Hamilton, Vettel, Raikkonen, Bottas, Verstappen, Ricciardo, Ocon, Grosjean, Sainz, Leclerc, Alonso, Hulkenberg, and Magnussen.
Lap 10: Sainz hits Grosjean in the rear losing a spot to Leclerc. Gasly up to 14th after spinning out.
Lap 11: Vettel retakes the lead, Raikkonen battles with Bottas for 3rd. Sainz pits to replace his front wing.
Lap 12: Leclerc up into 8th, Raikkonen falls down to 5th. Hulkenberg loses 10th to Alonso after running wide in the last corner.
Lap 14: Bottas takes 2nd from Hamilton, and then Verstappen takes 3rd place.
Lap 16: Hulkenberg up to 9th after getting around Grosjean.
Lap 18: Vettel loses the lead to Bottas in T1, Safety car is out after a big crash getting Hulkenberg airborne after colliding with Leclerc. Leclerc trying to get to pit road makes contact with Alonso sending Alonso back onto the track where Gasly makes significant contact. Gasly and Hulkenberg retire from the race while Leclerc and Alonso will be off pace.
Lap 19: Order as they run: Bottas, Vettel, Verstappen, Hamilton, Raikkonen, Ricciardo, Ocon, Grosjean, Magnussen, and Sirotkin are the top 10.
Lap 20: About half the field pits, Hamilton, Ocon, Magnussen, Raikkonen, Vandoorne, Stroll, Hartley, Grosjean, and Ericsson all pit.
Lap 21: Order after pitstops: Bottas, Vettel, Verstappen, Ricciardo, Sirotkin, Sainz, Perez, then Hamilton. Vettel retakes the lead on the restart as Bottas falls to 2nd.
Lap 22: Hamilton already up to 6th.
Lap 25: Ricciardo jumps Verstappen to head to a podium position. Perez goes up to 6th after heading around Sirotkin. Sirotkin then loses 3 more places as he falls to 11th.
Lap 27: Vettel and Bottas pit handing the lead to Ricciardo. Verstappen also pits as well. Vettel manages to come out in clean track while Bottas gets stuck behind Alonso.
Lap 28: Ricciardo pits and hands the lead to Hamilton.
Order as they run: Hamilton, Raikkonen, Perez, Ocon, Magnussen, Vandoorne, Grosjean, Ericsson. Ricciardo jumps Vettel in the pit cycle.
Lap 31: Perez pits, Bottas leads the strategy #2. Hamilton has a 6.7 second lead over Raikkonen, and 26.2 second lead over Grosjean now in 3rd. Vandoorne 4th, Stroll, Ericsson, Hartley, Ocon, Magnussen, then Bottas.
Lap 34: Magnussen and Ocon both pit.
Lap 36: Strategy #2 cars catching up to the back of Strat #1 pack.
Lap 37: Ricciardo has an issue and falls off pace, but rejoins 1 lap down.
Lap 38: Ericsson pits from the top 10 and rejoins 10th place.
Lap 39: Hamilton pits from the lead, rejoins ahead of Bottas and those on strategy 2.
Lap 40: Raikkonen pits from the lead, goes back to 2nd place behind Hamilton. Order as they run: Hamilton, Bottas, Raikkonen, Vettel, Verstappen, Grosjean, Vandoorne, Hartley, Stroll, Perez.
Lap 41: Vettel up to 3rd now behind both Mercedes.
Lap 42: Ericsson makes another stop as he has gearbox issues. Verstappen gets around Raikkonen for 4th place. Perez moves up into 8th place ahead of Stroll and Hartley.
Lap 43: Verstappen up to 3rd place.
Lap 46: Order as they run: Hamilton, Bottas, Verstappen, Raikkonen, Grosjean, Vandoorne, Stroll, Perez, Hartley, Magnussen, Ocon
Lap 47: Verstappen the quickest car on track, however might be too far back for Hamilton (-7 seconds). Vandoorne gets 6th from Grosjean.
Lap 48: Verstappen fastest lap (1:40.026) is ahead of Ricciardo (1:40.464) who set the second fastest lap. Raikkonen overtakes Vettel for 4th.
Lap 52: Verstappen up to 2nd but 5.8 seconds back from Hamilton.
Lap 53: Bottas pits with an issue! He comes out 5th ahead of Vandoorne by 30ish seconds.

Race Notes:

Prerace: Carlos Sainz Jr and below are now statistically out of the championship. No penalties this weekend.

Lap 1: Hamilton stalls on the start as Ericsson spins trying to avoid and makes contact with Vandoorne. Vettel leads the first lap over Verstappen and Bottas, Ricciardo, Raikkonen, Hulkenberg, Sainz, Alonso, Gasly, and Leclerc are top 10.

Lap 4: Hamilton up to 15th position after going back to 19th on the original start.

Lap 7: Hamilton up to 12th place.

Lap 10: Hamilton into the top 10, meanwhile Magnussen pits due to a front tire failure.

Lap 14: Hamilton up to 9th position.

Lap 15: Ocon up to 11th after qualifying 15th.

Lap 17: Hamilton moves up to 8th before pitting.

Lap 20: Vettel has built a 2 second lead over Verstappen with Bottas in 3rd 2.7 seconds back. Ricciardo is 10 seconds back and the two Renaults are 30 seconds back.

Lap 21: Vandoorne retired out of the race on lap 16 due to the first incident with Ericsson.

Lap 25: Hamilton up to 11th again.

Lap 26: Hamilton gains 4 positions in 1 lap to go to p7, and goes to 6th before lap 27.

Lap 28: Vettel pits from the lead, Ricciardo joins him along with Sainz.

Lap 29: Raikkonen pits, Hulkenberg, Alonso, Gasly, both Force India, and Leclerc pit.

Lap 30: Bottas pits from 2nd place.

Lap 31: Verstappen pits from the lead. He comes out behind Vettel, Bottas, and Ricciardo but ahead of Raikkonen.

Lap 32: Hamilton pits before he could lead a lap. Vettel now has a 9 second lead over Bottas, Ricciardo right behind and Verstappen is 16 seconds back. Hamilton rejoins 34 seconds back in 6th place.

Lap 33: Bottas runs his quickest lap of the race.

Lap 34: Both Mercedes come alive as Bottas sets another fastest lap.

Lap 36: Bottas 6.5 seconds back now, catching at a quick rate. Hamilton sets his fastest lap of the race so far.

Lap 38: Vettel now catching lap traffic, within 10 seconds behind Sirotkin.

Lap 39: Safety car is out! Hartley and Magnussen crash out. Hartley retires from the race and Magnussen goes a lap down.

Lap 40: Order as they run: Vettel, Bottas, Ricciardo, Verstappen, Raikkonen, Hamilton, Sainz, Hulkenberg, Alonso, Gasly, Ocon, Leclerc, Perez.

Lap 41: Hamilton gets Raikkonen on the start.

Lap 42: Raikkonen fights back and takes the spot back. Bottas takes the lead from Vettel!

Lap 45: Hamilton up to 4th position, Bottas pulls away with a 2.5 second lead.

Lap 49: Alonso has issues and drops putting Ocon in 10th.
