Roush Racing officials announced today that David Ragan has resigned with the organization through the 2011 season as he continues his development. Ragan currently runs part-time in the Cup Series, but as part of the agreement, will drive the #97 Harley-Davidson Ford Fusion full-time starting with the 2008 campaign. In addition, he will pilot the #6 Discount Tire Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Nationwide Series full-time to coincide with his rookie Sprint Cup campaign. "David has a tremendous amount of potential and was very mature about our decision to wait a full year before moving him up to the Cup Series," said Jack Roush. "He's come a long way in terms of his driving ability and we look forward to progressing even further over the next few seasons". (Roush Racing Press Release) (2/20/07).
