Annett to run 3 races for BER Braun-Edwards Racing announced today that ARCA Racing Series driver Michael Annett will drive 3 races in the second half of the 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Series for the team. Annett will join John Andretti, Brian Vickers, and Justin Marks in the #10 ABF Freight Toyota Camry next season, although part owner Todd Braun said he is still looking at other possible options to fill out the remaining schedule of the #10. "Michael is a tremendous talent, and we're thrilled to add him to our 2008 roster", said Braun. "We are really doing everything we can to build for the future. I think you're gonna see some even more exciting announcements coming on the Cup Series side of the spectrum soon, and I can't wait to finalize things". The other part owner, Chris Edwards, told reporters afterwards that Annett's contract last 1 year. "I'm very happy to be able to move up in the sport of stock car racing and join up with BER in the NASCAR Nationwide Series," said Annett. "Things have been a whirlwind these past few weeks, and I cannot wait for the 3 races I'll have next season to showcase what I can do behind the wheel of a racecar." (NASCAR.com) (5/16/07)
