I began this project in the early spring of 2012 as something to entertain myself with. My plan was, starting with the 2005 season, run the real-life Nextel Cup Series schedule on NR2003 and compare my results to actual results. Then, I would use the Driver/Sponsor Silly Season Chart on Jayski.com and customize the following season with driver changes. For example, what if Kurt Busch never got a DUI in late 2005 and stayed with Roush Racing for another season? This "mock season" project intended to answer those questions. Only, I never imagined it could progress as far as it has gotten.

Some facts about what I do:
I run races to 100% length
I use my own custom ratings formula
I followed the real-life schedule for 2005 and 2006 but have adjusted it to my liking for 2007
For 2005-2007 I used the Original CUP Mod that came with the game
I plan to switch to the Car of Tomorrow for the 2008 season
I followed the listed driver/sponsor contracts for the 2005 season and have carried out those contracts and written new ones

Hey Just Wondering Can i do that to? sorry if so many people do Mock Seasons but i have been doing this since the 1991 Season and have gone through the 2005 season. I am just starting 2006. With Biffle being the defending Champion. Can i post there too?

Yours is a very creative idea labontefanboy a lot different then other leagues and that is why I've always enjoyed it, you actually did inspire me to try and make good leagues and be as detailed as possible.
