So I've been thinking, and I've decided that I'm eliminating the rule of only 3 paint schemes in the Cup Series for next season. You may now have as many schemes as you'd like; if you want 36 different schemes then all the power to you. However, I am keeping the rule of just 1 paint scheme per car in the Nationwide Series for 2008.
That being said, I am going to need a lot of help painting, particularly on the Nationwide Series side of it. If you are interested in painting, shoot me a PM. Just as a reminder, though, you are still responsible for painting up the schemes for your individual teams. If there's an issue, let me know, but your team is your first priority. Also, a higher priority is having one scheme per driver first. Don't send me any alternate paint schemes if you have 4 teams and only 2 cars painted. First, knock out one for each of the 4 cars and then start doing alternates.
And feel free to send me any paint schemes you have already completed. I am swamped with work and don't have time to run a race right now nor do I have the time to knock off another paint scheme until the afternoon of May 7th at the earliest, so it'd be nice to be able to post a couple paint schemes to keep the site active. There is no time crunch, though, so don't feel pressured to get through your schemes really quickly.
When you do have your schemes done, send them to me in a .psd file so I have them all for safekeeping. That way I can quickly throw on a special logo/promotion/contest thing if the opportunity arises. By that I mean if I decided for an October race to have every car run a pink number for breast cancer awareness month I could do so. I also have something up my sleeve that I'm working out the details for, that will coincide with Sprint's entrance, so stay tuned for that. That will also be something involving the changing of a roof number color or spoiler color for distinguishment.
