Ken Butler III joins MWR Michael Waltrip Racing announced the addition of Ken Butler III to its driver development program in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for 2008. Butler will drive the #99 Aaron's Toyota Camry in the races that are logistically impossible for David Reutimann, who will be full-time in the Cup Series. The official number of races for Butler is unknown at this point, but he will get his fair chance to drive the 'Aaron's Dream Machine'. "This is a dream come true, pun intended," said Butler III. "MWR has built a really strong NNS program, and I really am looking forward to however many races I get next season. I've already built a solid foundation with the Waltrip family by running a race for Darrell this season, so it's gonna be a really smooth transition." Butler drove at Mansfield for Darrell Waltrip's Truck Series team, finishing 36th after a blown engine. He is slated to run one more race for the team later this month at Memphis.
