Sean Caisse to Rusty Wallace Racing Rusty Wallace Racing announced the signing of development driver Sean Caisse to a 2-year contract to drive the #64 HomeLife Communities car in the NASCAR Nationwide Series this morning. Caisse will drive 6 races in a Ford Fusion in 2008, and will drive a Honda Accord for an undetermined amount of races in 2009. "We couldn't be more excited to get Sean aboard with RWR," said Rusty Wallace. "He's a guy who I think could be a Cup Series championship contender for years to come and we're really happy that we can give him his first taste of national NASCAR action." Caisse has an impressive resume in lower tiers of NASCAR, having finished in 7th place in the 2005 NASCAR Busch North Series with 2 top 5s, 7 top 10s, and 2 poles in 13 races. The New Hampshire-born driver then followed that strong season up with an even more impressive one, ranking 2nd in the 2006 NASCAR Busch East Series with 3 wins, 6 top 5s, 8 top 10s, and an astounding 5 poles in just 11 races. He remains in that series this season, and through 5 races ranks 9th in points with 1 win and 2 top 5 finishes, to go with 2 poles that are part of an astronomical 2.4 average starting position. Just once this season has Caisse started outside the front row, which Wallace deems "a testament to the tremendous speed and talent that he possesses that just needs to be harnessed."
