During a press conference held after qualifying for the race at Phoenix, the talk wasn't of pole sitter Denny Hamlin, but it was of Nationwide Owner Curtis Key. Key, owner of The Motorsports Group, calmly walked into the media center with a smile on his face, here are the highlights of the press conference:
About Starting and Parking: "It's not the most ideal way of racing I understand, but with lack of sponsorship this is the only way we can survive right now. Of course I'd love to have all four cars racing for wins, but that's just not possible at this moment."
About his future in Nationwide and goals: "I plan on someday becoming a full-time team and competing for wins and championships. Reed is doing a good job in the #40 right now but we could be doing better."
And then just as he was about to leave a reporter asked "Do you plan to stay in Nationwide or return to Trucks?" which Curtis smiled once again and replied "I can't say about trucks, but we are currently trying to work out sponsorship issues and who knows maybe in 2013 we could have a go at Sprint Cup maybe even sooner."

I hope it doesn't come three start and park cars.

From NASCAR.com:
As teams make their way across the country to the Bristol Motor Speedway for the 4th event of the 2012 season, Curtis Key, owner of The Motorsports Group(TMG) was asked about the rumors of joining the Cup Series in 2012 and if it will be a full time team or a start and park. "Right now our Nationwide program is doing well with Reed Sorenson, I can't say just when we will be on track, or who our driver(s) will be, but we will have atleast one car parking to allow us the extra money needed to fund the other car which WILL race the full length."
