Jonsson running road courses for ML Motorsports
ML Motorsports announced this morning that Swedish-born driver Niclas Jonsson will be behind the wheel of the #70 Foretravel Chevy for the 4 road course races in the 2008 Nationwide Series. Jonsson will team up with fellow drivers Mark Green and Justin Diercks to try and bring home an owner's championship for the #70 team. "We're really excited to have Niclas joining ML Motorsports," said owner Mary Louise Miller. "He's well-respected in the road course racing ranks, and he has experience at all of the venues he'll drive the #70 at next season, so I think we have a very good chance at putting up some very strong finishes with Niclas." Jonsson is a veteran of the Rolex Grand-Am Sports Car Series, with 50 starts under his belt. He's earned 2 wins, 8 podium finishes, and 3 poles with a strongest finish of 4th in 2002.
