Well, when I read the post on jayski with Brian France saying that 2015 was basically going to have the same schedule as before, I was upset but not surprised.
And I guess now Eldora isn't going to have a cup race any time in the future. Man I don't know if I'm NASCAR I get rid of some of these cookie cutters that don't draw the greatest attendance (chicago and kentucky at least) and I give Eldora a race, give Iowa a race or two, and what about a new road course? I guess it really is going to be the same schedule. It just doesn't make sense to me. They are changing everything possible with NASCAR, yet they won't change the schedule and get rid of some of these cookie cutters, and add fresh blood into the series.
And it really sounded like the article from Jayski that they aren't planning to add Eldora any time soon, if ever.
I don't know it just seems like common sense to me that you would add a new, different track like Eldora and get rid of some of these cookie cutters that people complain about 24/7.
On the good news side I have heard that racing has been really good this year, a lot better than years past. I used to watch a majority of the NASCAR races (3 series) but now only watch a majority of the truck series, so I haven't really noticed.
I could get upset and scratch my head, but what ya gonna do?

There is a good possibility of a new road course being added to the schedule in the next year or two, but it would be at a track the series already goes to. I'm just not allowed to say much, other than there was a test session that was not at all made available to the public

A test session doesn't mean they would be willing to add it though. I mean I guess there is a possibility.

They wouldn't let anyone come to the track, not even at a far away view.

The only thing I hope that comes from NASCAR is that they bring back to the Busch and Truck old tracks, like Myrtle Beach, Nashville, Nazareth, Memphis, South Boston, etc.

I thought Kyle Busch had a really interesting idea. Talladega as the Chase cut-off race. His logic actually made sense. When 'Dega is a Chase race, a lot of guys simply hang back and try to avoid wrecking to save points. But if it was the last race, all the drivers either trying to get their first win or trying to get another win for more bonus points would be driving balls to the wall. It would make for some really awesome racing. It would also lead to a lot of equipment likely getting torn up, but checkers or wreckers is my favorite style of racing haha.

Yeah it might be a good idea. I think they should have 3 new chase races a year. Because the 10 chase races are the only races that really matter for the title contenders. (not the guys fighting hard to get a win and to get in the chase.)

I would definitely tune into that last race, to see who would grab the win at the fastest track in NASCAR.
