Things to look for this new season. Bobby Ricky tries for championship redemption in a new Ricky Rudd/Tide tribute scheme. Alikz Ahlbrand goes into the new season with a ton of momentum from a late season charge, and with new sponsor Target. Two new faces come to the series, Vitor Souza and Robert Pollard, can one of them break out? And lastly, Brendan Gorman brings his championship truck back for a run at two in a row.

Welcome to Bristol Motor Speedway, where we kick off the second season of the Super Truck Short Track series. The season couldn't begin to a more eventful race weekend. Yesterday, Alikz Ahlbrand and Vitor Souza tied for the top spot in opening practice at a 16.960. Jackson Braun was third fastest, just three thousandths of a second behind the two. Vitor Souza eventually went on to win final practice, and Ahlbrand won the pole, before rain washed out the race last night. With Vitor starting fifth, can he hold off a fast Napa Silverado, or will someone else claim victory and the early point lead?
