Brett Bodine, owner/driver of the #11 sponsored by Hooters, announced that his team will be split between Joe Gibbs Racing and the Hover Motorsports.
For those who do not remember: the Hover Motorsports is the team of Stan Hover, who debuted in 1992 with Dave Blaney behind the wheel and made his last start in the 1995 Daytona 500 with Joe Ruttman.
2003 and 2002 Fords of Brett's team will be sold to Stan Hover, while the #11 owners points go to the team of Joe Gibbs.
In return, the owners points that are of the #80 team today will be sold to Hover. However, the Joe Gibbs Racing will run three cars for every race since Michigan: Labonte, Stewart and the #80 split between Mike Bliss and Geoffrey Bodine.
Gibbs was not found to declare about it. Bodine said he is happy to see his team, now divided, grow and happy to see her brother back on track. Hover already said he is very excited for next season.
