With the departure of Dave Blaney, Doug Bawel was hunting for a driver for your team in 2004 and it was done: Jerry Nadeau is hired to drive the #77 in 2004 and 2005.
The 32-year-old Nadeau debuted in 1997 in the team of Richard Jackson. Made rookie season in 1998 in the teams of Bill Elliott and Harry Melling, where he remained until 1999. After a few races in the team of Nelson Bowers, was hired by Hendrick in 2000, where he stayed for nearly two and a half years. Fired, made several runs for different teams to return to MB2 in early 2003.
Nadeau is currently in 29th with 1808 points, struggling to leave the #01 in the top 30 of owners. His best performance is a 3rd place at Bristol.
"It's kind of hard to talk about the new team and we have not even got to test the car, but I have high hopes for 2004", Nadeau said. Doug Bawel did not, however D. K. Ulrich summed up in one word how the team is after hiring Jerry: "happy".
